Fifteen years ago, John Reyment followed his dream to establish a photography business. Initially operating part time from the front room of a small cottage, John’s drive, passion for photography and business skills enabled him to leave his management consulting job, establish Reyment Photographics as one of Brisbane’s leading wedding and portrait photography studios and create a fantastic studio/gallery in Coorparoo, Brisbane.

Overseas trips to Europe in 2005 and 2007 inspired John and his family’s dream to “Live in Europe for a Year” become reality. Throughout 2009, John, Karen and son Alex lived in 12 European locations with no accommodation or car hire costs! This experience provided amazing family and professional experiences and opportunities.

John began his work life began in the banking industry gaining valuable commercial experience. It was here he discovered his love for helping people and began his career as a professional trainer. A move to the public sector enabled John to develop his skills in management consulting where he provided business consultancy services to senior executives, work groups and individuals. His passion for photography saw John leave his consultant role and begin his career as a professional photographer.

The 2010 Epson AIPP Qld Documentary Photographer of the Year, John is now sharing his secrets for managing a successful photography business. His background in banking, management consulting, training and development combined with lessons learnt from his own small business experience uniquely qualify John to coach you to achieve your own photography business dreams.
